Jim Waters, founder of The Waters Foundation,

The Waters Foundation and High Performance Systems
(HPS) have worked together for several years driving our common mission, to
promote Systems Thinking and dynamic modeling (ST/DM) in education. Since the
inception of this foundation HPS has maintained a relationship with Waters
making STELLA accessible to K-12 teachers. Waters promotes the use of STELLA
and trains teachers on how to use the software. There are teachers from 1st
through 12th grade teaching ST concepts and dynamic modeling across the US
thanks to the amazing efforts put forth by this foundation.
Waters consists of a network of educators who develop the capacity of K-12
educators to apply ST/DM in classroom instruction. The foundation is also
involved in research and the dissemination of information regarding ST/DM in
education. They have 12 sites located throughout the United States as well as a
comprehensive website chock full of resources for teachers. You can learn more
