About the Faculty

Steve Peterson and Corey Peck are highly regarded within the system dynamics and dynamic modeling communities for both their modeling skills and their teaching abilities.  Steve and Corey are principals at Lexidyne, LLC, a provider of dynamic modeling consulting and training services. Together, they bring over 30 years experience to the class.

Corey Peck As Managing Director of Lexidyne, LLC, Corey’s work has been focused primarily on guiding the firm to a position of market leadership for dynamic modeling services within the pharmaceutical industry. With Mark Paich he co-authored Pharmaceutical Product Strategy: Using Dynamic Modeling for Effective Brand Planning (CRC Press, 2004). In addition, his work has provided the basis for research publications including Net Gain: Expanding Markets Through Virtual Communities (Harvard Business School Press, 1997) and Net Worth (Harvard Business School Press, 1999). Corey earned a BA in economics from Colorado College .

Steve Peterson For more than 20 years, Steve has developed a broad base of experience and deep expertise in the application of dynamic modeling within a university/research setting.  During his 18 year tenure at High Performance Systems (now isee systems), Steve was instrumental in the development of STELLA and worked extensively with faculty and researchers who used STELLA.  Steve’s current project work is drawn from industry, government, non-profits and NGOs.  His research interests include the relationships between cultural dynamics and community development, and the dynamics associated with transitioning from petroleum-based transportation fuels to fuels based on cellulosic ethanol.  Steve has been on the visiting faculty of Dartmouth College .  Steve holds a BA from Colorado College and an MS from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College .
