Who can purchase a Faculty/PhD license?
The Faculty/PhD license is for University or College faculty members and PhD candidates who use STELLA or iThink for research or as part of a class.
Faculty/PhD licenses include one year of technical support and maintenance and can be upgraded.
As a Faculty member or PhD candidate, how do I obtain confirmation for educational discounts on software?
E-mail support@iseesystems.com a link to a page on your University or College web site which indicates your status and affiliation, along with your isee customer ID. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your status has been confirmed.
What licensing options are available for students at my University or College?
Students may either purchase their own licenses or use University-owned Lab Pack licenses installed on University computers.
Lab Pack Licenses Lab Pack licenses are licensed to the University and are for student use only. Each Lab Pack license is for one University computer. Licenses may be installed on a network server if there is a 3rd party limiting device which allows only the number of licenses you own to be in use at one time. Lab Pack licenses are supported through the associated faculty license and can be upgraded when the faculty license is upgraded. There is a minimum purchase requirement of 5 licenses. Student Licenses –Perpetual and 6-Month Subscription Student licenses are licensed to students enrolled in a class that requires the use of STELLA or iThink. Perpetual licenses have no time-out or expiration date and the 6-Month subscription license expires 6 months after the date of installation. Student licenses do not include technical support or maintenance and can not be upgraded.

How do I obtain confirmation to purchase Lab Pack licenses?
Lab Pack licenses may be purchased if a faculty member in the department requesting the licenses owns a current Faculty/PhD license. If you are not the owner of the Faculty/PhD license, please e-mail support@iseesystems.com the current Faculty/PhD license registration number to obtain confirmation.
How do University students obtain confirmation to purchase Student licenses?
Professors should e-mail their class roster with names and e-mail addresses of class participants, along with the class name and number. The class roster should be a Microsoft Excel file with first name, last name and e-mail address, in separate columns.
Who can purchase Student licenses at my University or College?
Student licenses may be purchased by students enrolled in a class that requires the use of the software or who are working directly with a faculty member who owns a current Faculty/PhD license.
Do PhD students qualify for student licenses?
PhD students do not qualify for student licenses unless they are working with a professor that has a registration number for the current version of the software. The registration number must be provided prior to purchase.

How do K-12 students obtain confirmation to purchase K-12 Student licenses?
K-12 students should ask their teacher to email support@iseesystems.com requesting that they be confirmed as a K-12 student. The email should contain the name of the student, the name of the school they attend, and an email address in order to establish an isee Membership account.
