Manually Importing and Exporting Data

Once you've created one or more import or export links, you can manually import or export data via the links at any time.

Note: To manually import or export data, you have to have already set up one or more import links or export links for the model.

To Manually Import or Export Data

  1. Open the model you want to manually import data from or manually export data to.

  2. From the Model menu, choose either Import Data or Export Data to open the corresponding dialog.

  3. To the far right of each link, you'll see the import or export button. Click this button to manually import or export the data.
  4. If you have multiple links, you can execute the import and export on all of them at the same time by clicking on the Import All or Export All buttons at the bottom right.
  5. Click OK.
