Data Handling in Stella®

All Stella® models use data, whether in the form of numbers directly in equations or time-based values coming from spreadsheets and other data sources. While it has always been easy to bring in constants and graphical functions from external data sources, Stella's extensive data handling capabilities allow many more possibilities. In this webinar, we go over basic import and export functionality in models and interfaces and build on that to show how data handling models can be cascaded to put values in the form needed for final consumption. We cover the importing of constants, graphical functions, time varying values, and array definitions. We also show how raw data files can be opened directly in Stella to explore values and speed the model construction process.
